UKTV renews partnership with Evenbreak to deepen commitment to disability inclusion

UKTV has renewed its partnership with Evenbreak to further its commitment to creating a truly inclusive workforce for disabled talent. By working directly with the global award-winning job board, UKTV aims to make a significant impact on disability inclusion, by fostering meaningful engagement with the community.

As part of the renewed partnership, UKTV will continue to promote job opportunities for disabled candidates through Evenbreak’s platform, including offering support with CV writing and interview advice, to help ensure disabled candidates have the resources and guidance they need to succeed.

“At UKTV we’re serious about disability inclusion and creating a workplace where everyone has the chance to thrive and do their best work,” said Graham Major, Head of Talent Acquisition at UKTV. “This is not just about making a statement, but about taking real action. We are committed to engaging with the disabled community in a genuine and impactful way, providing practical support, advice, and opportunities for growth.”

UKTV is committed to being a truly inclusive employer and, alongside making adjustments to office space to ensure accessibility, has a number of initiatives in place to help elevate under-represented groups both in its workforce and on and off screen in its original content. These include membership of the TV Access Project (TAP), an alliance committed to creating a substantive structural shift in the representation of the Deaf, Disabled and Neurodivergent community in the television industry, and the All Voices initiative, founded by UKTV in 2019, to fund off screen talent searches to find and employ freelancers from under-represented backgrounds for UKTV productions.

Jane Hatton, Founder and CEO of Evenbreak, shared her enthusiasm for UKTV’s renewed commitment: “UKTV is setting a powerful example of what true disability inclusion looks like. Their commitment to creating a space where disabled candidates are not just welcomed but supported to succeed is evident in the tangible actions they’re taking, offering interview support, and making meaningful changes in the workplace. UKTV is showing that disability inclusion is a priority, with measurable impact that goes beyond words.”
