Evenbreak’s statement on the recent UK Supreme Court ruling

Trans Rights Are Human Rights: Our Commitment

At Evenbreak, we believe in a world where everyone can thrive in the workplace, regardless of identity.

The recent UK Supreme Court ruling has raised serious concerns for many in the trans+, Intersex and non-binary communities. As an organisation rooted in disability inclusion, we know that these identities often intersect, and that exclusion anywhere risks harm everywhere.

We stand in solidarity with our trans colleagues, candidates, and community members. You belong here. We see you, we value you, and we will always work to make our spaces safe and inclusive.

Inclusion isn’t a statement, it’s an ongoing commitment. That’s why we’re:

  • Reviewing how we represent and support trans+, Intersex and non-binary job seekers in our resources and signposting to relevant support organisations
  • Sharing guidance with our employer partners on inclusive workplace practices
  • Listening to trans+, Intersex and non-binary voices to ensure our response is grounded in lived experience.

If you have ideas, feedback, or experiences to share, our door is always open.

Evenbreak ally, coach, impact speaker and consultant, Leo Aces, said: “Trans+, Intersex and Non Binary People have always and will always exist. Throughout history, we have had to fight for our visibility and basic rights; our battle continues.”
