Evenbreak and Guidant Global are both involved in the Recruitment Industry Disability Initiative (RIDI). In fact, Guidant Global have been instrumental in promoting disability equality within the recruitment industry. Do they lead by example? For sure! Here are their answers to our questions:

Why is it important to Guidant Global to employ disabled people? 

Guidant aim to recruit the most diverse workforce possible. Making ourselves accessible to every possible talent pool is of utmost importance to us.

Apart from advertising on Evenbreak, how else have you made your recruitment process accessible and inclusive?  

We offer a disability guarantee so anyone with a disability meeting the minimum criteria will get an interview. Our website is fully accessible using Recite Me. We also use strengths-based interviewing to eliminate unconscious bias.

Do you offer flexible working?  

Yes, we offer all sorts of flexible working, including remote working, home working, and part time and flexible hours. This is available to all staff, and people are equally valued whatever their pattern of working.

What else do you offer disabled employees?  

We offer all employees career progression and mentoring – as well as a Diversity and Inclusion programme internally with disability as a recognised group. We have ambassadors to organise events and we recognise disability awareness days. We have trained mental health awareness first aiders. We also take part in the Superhero triathlon.
