What makes Rele happy? His family, and specifically holidays in the sun have brought real joy and happy memories. Rele says that the last holiday they had as a family was to Lanzarote – and that’s particularly special, as his daughter clearly remembers it, though she was only around 4 years old. According to Rele, “She asks ‘when are we going back to Lanzarote’, as she enjoyed it so much!” He hopes to do some more travelling when the Covid restrictions are over – he feels there are a lot of places and cultures out there to experience!

Instead of focusing on things that make him unhappy, Rele prefers to focus on the positive, and do things that help him keep everything in perspective. He is particularly inspired by James Altucher, who writes about self-development and discusses an approach to generating ideas, which involves coming up with ten ideas every day so that by the end of 6 months you become an idea machine. 10 ideas a day is a great workout for your ideal muscle!
Self-discipline and productivity are important to Rele, and the things he aspires to, though he claims to be guilty of procrastination sometimes. Nonetheless, Rele keeps focussing on the future. As someone who spent a year in rehab in Stoke Mandeville hospital after a car accident, Rele is justly proud of now being a husband and a father of two children.
A big fan of TV quizzes, Rele enjoys them all, from Pointless to Only Connect – and would like to be a contestant on a TV show one day. And indeed, he has some media experience already, as he took part in some training with the BBC some years ago as part of a radio scheme for disabled people – and still has the mug to prove it!

Rele loves watching sports like athletics, boxing and football. He supports Arsenal FC and has been to the Emirates Stadium a few times. He’s a big fan of hip-hop music from the 90s, enjoys a cold pint of Guinness and goes to live music events when he can.
