Alana recently joined Evenbreak as an Administration Assistant supporting all departments ensuring the day-to-day tasks run smoothly. Alana is a lover of Excel spreadsheets and all things admin as she prides herself on being organised – something that is essential when living with her invisible conditions.

Alana lives with FND and ME/CFS and is keen to show that life can be fulfilled despite health challenges. Always looking on the brighter side of life, Alana can find amusement when her uncontrollable FND symptoms kick in, particularly when she does a very good Woody the Woodpecker impression LOL
Before joining Evenbreak Alana worked in an Early Years Nursery. Working in this environment allowed Alana to act her shoe size, not her age, whilst immersing herself in the development of Early Years Education through play. Unfortunately, due to the active nature of this role, Alana sought a career change. This is when she stumbled across Evenbreak!

Due to the unpredictability of Alana’s invisible conditions, she spends a lot of time in the comfort of her own home and has adjusted her hobbies and interests to suit. From crafting and reading; reality TV and baking; to reorganising her house contents; she can always find something to keep herself occupied.
Alana loves spending time with her family and friends. Her niece and nephew are often around, and she is always the “Fun Auntie!”

Alana has a passion for music and her friend group all have the same music tastes. When her favourite bands are touring, tickets are always bought in the hope that Alana can make the gig! Her favourite venue for music is the famous Glasgow Barrowlands.
Going on holidays or day trips enjoyed at a slower pace is a priority for Alana. One of her most recent adventures was a cruise holiday visiting Greece and Croatia which allowed her to visit the filming locations of one of her most-watched TV series, Game of Thrones, which she rewatches once a year minimum!
